Training Design of Personal Effectiveness

Personal Effectivenessprogram flow caters for gradual evolution from easy to tougher activities and the Personal Effectiveness Skills show a steady refinement, as we go along. It is a well planned and researched process which culminates into a shift in the way people think about Personal Effectiveness and using itfor professional purposes.

Details of various modules designed are as under:

Module 1Understanding Personal Effectiveness

Module 2Goal Setting

Module 3:  Build Your Interpersonal Skills

Module 4:  Responding (not Reacting) to the Situation

Module 5:  Short Talks (One Session Not beyond 30 minutes)

  •  This is the FLAGSHIP session of L2L International.
  •  The main objective of these talks are to make participants aware of certain issues which are very critical and  cannot be overlooked. A short sessionplanned is on “How to build a High-Performance Team”.
  •  Short talk discussions help in general awarenessand improvement of the participants thereby improving overall personality which provides an impetus to company’s brand/image building.

Methodology

Training methodology adopted is generally based on four major issues mainly Cost, Subject Matter, Learning Style and Organizational Objectives. The above-mentioned course designed for the selective participants would primarily be based on Experiential Learning. Various techniques/methods of training adopted for the subject course, to make it more effective and appropriate are as listed below:

(a)   Learning through Spectating. This method will include lectures, videos/ films and demonstrations.

(b)  Learning through Contributing. It involves brainstorming, discussions, role play, games/activities, ice breakers and case studies.

In addition, questioning and reviewing sessions would be inbuilt in all modules being delivered to the participants. This not only encourages the open learning but also supports the most natural of all forms of learning….Discovery Learning. It encourages the participants to draw their own lessons and conclusions from the experience.

Duration

A one day training sessions would be structured as per details mentioned below:-

Day 1

10:15 to 11:45 Module 1- Understanding Personal Effectiveness.

 11:45 to 13:15 Module 2 – Goal Setting
  • Set “SMART” Goal
  • ‘Have’ vs ‘Want’ Analysis
  • Devise your Action Plan
  • Use ‘SCHEMES’ to validate comprehensive plan to achieve success.
 14:00 to 15:30Module 3 – Build Your Interpersonal Skills
  • Quiz: How strong is your Interpersonal Skill?
  • MBTI: Tool to identify personality type and working style.
  • Leading Strategies for getting results.
  • Baker’s 4 Strategies of Influence.
 1530 to 1715 Module 4 – Responding (not reacting) to Situation
  • Relation between stress & pressure – 6 Sec Rule, Triple A approach
  • Pressure vs Performance: Inverted U Model
  • Control over Schedules – using Chuck, Block & Tackle approach
  • Relevance of ‘Kaizen’ theory for continual improvement.
