Module 1Project Management(PM) – Concepts and Needs Identification
Module 2Project Planning and Scheduling
Module 3:  Project Monitoring and Control
Module 4:  Closing of Project
 Short Talks (One Session Not beyond 30 minutes).

  • This is the FLAGSHIP session of L2L International
  • The main objective of these talks are to make participants aware of certain issues

Methodology

Training methodology adopted is generally based on four major issues mainly Cost, Subject Matter, Learning Style and Organizational Objectives. The above-mentioned course designed for the selective participants of EDCIL would primarily be based on Experiential Learning. Various techniques/methods of training adopted for the subject course, to make it more effective and appropriate are as listed below:

  • Learning through Spectating

This method will include lectures, videos/ films and demonstrations

  • Learning through Contributing

It involves brainstorming, discussions, role play, games/activities, ice breakers andcase studies.

  • Follow up Sessions/Coaching

It is one of the most natural training process. In this, the conditions are created for the trainees to discover and learn with the support of IT tools available (On line Training Support). The trainer is there to guide and counsel and thus is an available resource to them. This is conducted as per the requirement of the client

In addition, questioning and reviewing sessions would be inbuilt in all modules being delivered to the participants. This not only encourages the open learning but also supports the most natural of all forms of learning….Discovery Learning. It encourages the participants to draw their own lessons and conclusions from the experience.

Duration

A two day training sessions would be structured as per details mentioned below:-

Day 1

09:30 to 11:00 PM Concepts
Issues discussed are management processes, benefits of PM, Various Phases/Knowledge areas.

 
11:15 to 13:00 Needs Identification
To include key project success factors, impactof organizational structure on projects, role and importance ofproject manager.

           
14:00 to 15:30Discussion on case study through a live activity by all theparticipants.
 

15:45 to 17:30 Project Planning

Various issues highlighted are development of project Charter, Importance of stakeholders and their engagement and NPS (Net Promoter Score)

Day 2

09:30 to 11:00Project scheduling

It includes WBS (Work Break down Structure), CPM (Critical Path Method) and Techniques of managing project meetings.

11:15 to 13:00Project Monitoring

Points discussed are risk planning, cost planning and communication plan.

14:00 to 15:30Project Control

Using milestones for measurement, keepingup with project, dealing with troubled projects and PMIS.

15:45 to 17:30 Closing the Project

Issues highlighted are completing thefinal report, doing lesson learnt analysis and acknowledging     success and failures.
